VIPER PSTN Release 2.0 Certified

The NSA has certified the General Dynamics VIPER PSTN Release 2.0. This software release enables the VIPER to be converted into a PSTN secure phone that interoperates with entire SCIP product family. This release also requires the 'PSTN Connect' USB modem dongle to be purchased from GD. Software for the latest PSTN and SCCP (Cisco Skinny) VIPER releases are now available for download.

This certification incorprates a number of new features including EFF and full compliance with the HAIPE 1.3.5 specification. When used with the 802.11 RMOD, it provides WPA2 Enterprise support. This release also adds an integrated VPN endpoint capability.

GDC4S SME PED Release 2 Software Is Now Available!!!

Log in and download the latest release of the GD SME PED (Sectera Edge) software. This release includes updates to both PDAs and Nexcore. All users must update their software. Instructions are available in the Sectera Edge SME PED Administrator Manual.

A Telewall blocks the modem tones from any SCIP device that initiates secure mode from off post to a on post number. This problem can be avoided if the user informs their local DOIM that their number on post is a secure device that uses SCIP or modem signals such as a fax. Login and read more under "Bulletins"
